The lowest level of supervisory wizard. Normally an Advisory supervises a catchment area containing not more than a few hundred wizards, though these numbers are subject to change depending on the population density of a given area and the talents (and free time) of the Advisory wizard involved.

Advisories tend to be promoted temporarily to [[Senior]] status by the [[Powers That Be | Powers that Be]] as required by local circumstance; they then fall back to Advisory status without any implication of demotion.
