Canonical material in the YW universe means:

Material in the seven (soon to be eight) published novels of the Young Wizards series.
The two novels of the Feline Wizardry sequence.
YW short stories such as "Uptown Local".

Material in the Concordance may be considered to be "pretty much canonical" until it actually makes it into print.
