Canonical material in the YW universe means:
- Material in the seven (soon to be eight) published novels of the Young Wizards series.
- The two novels of the Feline Wizardry sequence.
- YW short stories such as "Uptown Local".
Material in the Concordance may be considered to be "pretty much canonical" until it actually makes it into print.
It will be at least a couple of years before the canonicality1 of filmed / televised YW material becomes an issue. As Tom likes to say, "We'll burn that bridge when we come to it."
