α Gem is a multiple star system with six members -- or, rather, a visual "triple" in which each star is actually a binary. The two brightest components are white stars of type A1 and A5. Ysen is the word used in the Speech for the stars considered as a group: individually, their names are Umnaih, Relewen, Mikkat', Telewe, Thainaith, and Felev. (SYWTBAW)
