One of a number of alien wizards whom Nita meets while working on KERNEL-detection routines in the ASCHETIC "practice" universes. Neme is described as "a long graceful fishlike creature", "all gauzy silver fins and big eyes"; he stays inside a bubble of water which he levitates as necessary to get around.
