18 Tauri
(Also known as 18 Tau, HR 1144, HD 23324, SAO 76137, BD +24 546) A small blue star of type B8 V in the open cluster known to Earth astronomers as the Pleiades: sometimes identified with the legendary "Lost Pleiad". There are six planets in the 18 Tauri system, all small rocky types.
The star is the primary of the homeworld / origin world of the Me!t species, Me!tk, the third planet out. The Me!t call the primary Kartik. (HW)
