Canonical material in the YW universe means:
- Material in the eight (soon to be nine) published novels of the Young Wizards series.
- The two novels of the Feline Wizardry sequence.
- YW short stories such as "Uptown Local" and "Theobroma".
Material in the Concordance may be considered to be "pretty much canonical" until it actually makes it into print.
It will be at least a couple of years before the canonicity1 of filmed / televised YW material becomes an issue. As Tom likes to say, "We'll burn that bridge when we come to it."
