Up to WAW, the Rodriguez family consists of:
- Juan Rodriguez, Kit's pop. Juan works as a pressman for a major Long Island newspaper which has never been openly identified, but is probably Newsday.
- Marina Rodriguez (neé Bellario), Kit's mama. She works as a nurse practitioner at a university hospital north of Hempstead.
- Helena Rodriguez, Kit's oldest sister: presently away at college, studying for her MBA at Amherst College.
- Carmela Rodriguez, Kit's second-oldest sister, presently in her senior year in high school.
