(Also known as 18 Tau, HR 1144, HD 23324, SAO 76137, BD +24 546) A small blue star of type B8 V in the open cluster known to Earth astronomers as the Pleiades: sometimes identified with the legendary "Lost Pleiad".
The star is the primary of the home system / origin system of the Me!t species, Me!tk. The indigenous Me!t species calls the primary Kartik. (HW)
