The name of the dominant species of Rirhath B: also used for a member of that species. Rirhait look like large metallically-colored centipedes with multiple stalked eyes.
Most Stationmasters of the Crossings are traditionally Rirhait, as was the first Master of the original tiny worlgating facility, thousands of years previously. As of WAW, this tradition is being upheld by Sker'ret on behalf of his brood-sire the previous Stationmaster, who was left indisposed by the Satrachi incursion into the Crossings. (SYWTBAW et al.)
