The major intelligent species native to the planet Me!tk: an amphibian species renowned as great thinkers and philosophers.
Me!t are also well known because of their unusual gender/sexual interrelationship. The males are childbearing, though the females carry the preborn children for at least part of the time. Two more sexes handle insemination and logistics, and three others appear to just stand around and watch, though the species uses the same word, "parent", for all of them. (HW)
