- Juan Rodriguez, Kit's pop. Juan works as a pressman for the major Long Island newspaper.
- [[Rodriguez, Marina C. (neé Bellario) | Marina Rodriguez (neé Bellario)], Kit's mama. She works as a nurse in a university hospital in Hempstead.
- Helena Rodriguez, Kit's oldest sister: presently away at college, studying for her MBA at one of the upstate branches of [SUNY].
- Carmela Rodriguez, Kit's second-oldest sister.
