One of a number of "quantifier" words in the Speech used to indicate one of several aspects of a spell's strength or purpose. Various words or characters in Earthly languages are also used in spell-descriptions as shorthand for other quantifiers, leading to (translated) constructions like "temporospatial claudication, asdekh class." (SYWTBAW)
