Current events

Due to fairly severe leg injuries incurred on August 9th in an accident at Dublin Airport, DD will not be able to attend either CascadiaCon (Seattle) or the Pacific Northwest Booksellers' Conference (Portland) in early September. (A little more information about the accident is available at DD's weblog.) She is now planning a different tour schedule for the month of November. Details will be published on the Young Wizards news and events weblog as they become available.

The next live chat with DD will take place on Saturday, October 8th, 2005, in the Chime chat area of the YW discussion forums, starting at 3 PM (US) EDT / 8 PM (UK) BST. Because of business travel, the November chat will be scheduled late in the month, probably in the week after Thanksgiving. There will be no chat in December. However, the date for the January chat will be announced in mid-December.

The first three YW "test" podcasts are now in place at wizcast.youngwizards.net. Interested parties can continue to submit Errantry Concordance-oriented questions to DD there, along with whatever other questions they're interested in asking. -- Due to work commitments and some hardware problems, DD has had to postpone the posting of the A Wizard of Mars podcast material until approximately the beginning of October.
