Dunbar

Maiden name of Elizabeth (Betty) Kathryn Callahan.

The male side of the Dunbar family is of largely Scottish extraction, mostly lowlands Scots rather than highland, and numerous relatives of Betty's paternal grandfather are scattered around the Scots-settled parts of the world, especially in Canada. Others can still be found in the Edinburgh area. However, Betty's mother, Angela, was of mixed Greek / Swedish origin.
