The group of eight interconnected beaches at the heart of Jones Beach State Park, on the South Shore of Long Island. Though other beachfront state parks in the area are nominally separate entities -- like Robert Moses and Captree -- Long Island residents like Template:NitaAndKit tend to think of them as part of Jones Beach.
