Numerous events in [[DW]] and [[TWD]] take place in or near the Jones Beach area, and its famous water tower is occasionally referenced in the series as a landmark. The water tower stands between the two main parking lots that serve the beach and its ancillary buildings (the former swimming pool and the restaurant / food service / shower building).
