Arm coordinator

The wizard whose assignment involves coordinating the work of wizards in the worlds of a specific galactic arm, with special attention to the way wizardry affects the relationships among large arm-based aggregates of sentient beings such as interstellar empires and trading groups. Matters arising elsewhere in a given galaxy (or outside it) are usually jointly handled with that area's coordinating / supervising wizard, though sometimes when circumstances or jurisdictional issues are complicated enough they may be referred upward to the Galactic level.

It is relatively rare for an individual wizard not part of the supervisory structure to hear from an Arm coordinator, so when Dairine is given an intervention go-ahead from one during WAW, she is beyond surprised. It is not made clear which coordinator she was communicating with, but most likely it was either the coordinator for the Orion Arm or Sagittarius Arm.
