Hrau'f

Called "the Tamer", one of the feline Powers that Be: a daughter of Queen Iau. Hrau'f is the feline equivalent of the Power sometimes referred to among humans as the "Wise Power" or "Athena Power". Among cat-wizards, Hrau'f is also known as the "mistress of the Whispering" and is responsible for passing on to feline wizards the equivalents of the information found by humans in the Wizard's Manual. This transfer of information is more than usually intimate: the Tamer will often add commentary when necessary, and/or engage in conversation with the wizard involved. (TBONWM, OHMWS/TVTQ)
