Wellakh

Fourth planet out from the star known to the planet's inhabitants as Thahit. The only major habitation of the hominid Wellakhit species, Wellakh is a generally Earthlike world, but has suffered cruelly from the effects of a major solar flare some centuries ago. Nearly half of it remains melted down to slag as an aftereffect of that flare, and in the middle of that devastated space rises the mountain peak that houses the palace of the Sunlords. (WH, WAW)
