The wizard whose assignment involves coordinating the work of wizards in the worlds in a specific galactic region. This title is normally given to supervisory wizards whose work is not specifically linked to an inter-galactic structure like an arm: for example, wizards supervising globular clusters, or regions in less structurally-classifiable galaxies of the sphericals or irregular type.

As with Arm coordinators, a Galactic regional wizard's job is to pay particular attention to the way wizardry affects the relationships among large arm-based aggregates of sentient beings such as interstellar empires and trading groups. Matters arising elsewhere in a given galaxy (or outside it) are usually jointly handled with that area's coordinating / supervising wizard, though sometimes when circumstances or jurisdictional issues are complicated enough they may be referred upward to the Galactic level. (AWOM)
