Fang, having since [[DW]] taken a year's sabbatical from wizardry to tend to parenting duties, has relocated from the Baffin Bay area (his former range) to the Bering Sea. Killer whale (Orcinus orca) who (appropriately enough) sings the part of the Killer in the Song of the Twelve. Fang is a friendly type, with a tendency toward terrible jokes, and Nita likes him immediately.

Shortly after the events of DW, Fang took a year's sabbatical from wizardry to tend to parenting duties. Since that time, he and his family have relocated from the Baffin Bay area (their former range) to an area between the Bering Strait and the Gulf of Alaska. Fang is presently doing Advisory-level ocean current and weather studies in the mid-Pacific waters from the Emperor Seamounts to Christmas Ridge. (DW, AWOM)
