Now located at Fifth Avenue and Eighty-fifth Street in Manhattan, this playground was built in honor of the notable New Yorker and philanthropist William Church Osborn.

It was formerly located further north in the park, but the steady growth of the Metropolitan Museum of Art caused its relocation (and the relocation of the statues of bears and deer which guard its gateway) to its present site. (SYWTBAW)
