Called "the Tamer", one of the feline Powers that Be: a daughter of Queen Iau. Hrau'f is the feline equivalent of the Power sometimes referred to among humans as the "Wise Power" or "Athena Power". Among cat-wizards, Hrau'f is also known as the "mistress of the Whispering" and is responsible for passing on to feline wizards the equivalents of the information found by humans in the Wizard's Manual.
