Aresh-hav

An acronym which stands for a rather troubling phrase in the Speech, used to express the degree of a world's domination by the Lone Power. Briefly, the phrase implies "lost", and suggests that the world or continuum described is lost almost as much to hope as to the powers of darkness. Such a place is routinely presumed to be beyond redemption until the Powers That Be intervene directly. The term also implies that the intervention might possibly be fatal for the world's inhabitants if the Lone One cannot be otherwise dislodged. (WAW)
