CATNYP

CATNYP is the venerable online catalog at the New York Public Library. Ehef mentions in TBONWM that he's involved with the business of "porting" the Book of Night with Moon across into the catalog's mainframe database installation. This is the first such Earthly installation of the Book and its Manual functions, the others (at that point) being tailored mostly to portable computers and organizers / PDAs. Presumably the WizPod is a later product of this project.

Ehef tells Rhiow that beta-test teams had been working on the database integration for some years, interrupted only by a period during which the "hard copy" version of the Book had gone missing. The work resumed when "a team on errantry" (i.e., Nita and Kit) brought it back. (TBONWM)
