Perimagia

(Not to be confused with paramagia, q.v.) A talent which when it appears or is exercised is doing so as a manifestation of a being's frequent contact with wizards or wizardry.

One possible example of perimagia is Carmela Rodriguez's slowly developing manifestation of the steganographic gift, first identified as such by Mamvish in AWOM. One possible explanation for Carmela's development of this linguistic talent would be her exposure to the Speech since Kit became a wizard -- as the Speech contains enough power in and of itself to produce unusual effects in people predisposed to such, and Carmela was already involved in studying other languages when the talent began to manifest.
